Canerector Foundation

Canerector Inc. is a diversified industrial organization comprised of more than 50 independent companies with 3.8 million square feet of owned manufacturing facilities across North America. Specializing in the design, engineering, fabrication, machining, casting, and construction of industrial products, Canerector Inc. serves a wide range of global end markets.

Building on a long-standing commitment to philanthropy, the Hawkins Family established The Canerector Foundation in 2019 to formalize their giving and support the communities that have helped shape and sustain the Canerector Inc. business over the years.

Impact

The Canerector Foundation is a registered Canadian charitable organization dedicated to strengthening communities through meaningful, responsible giving. To date, the Foundation has donated and committed more than $30 million to charities in Canada and around the world, ensuring all contributions support communities and people who need it most, empowering them to thrive and prosper.

At Confederation College, the Canerector Foundation is investing directly in student success through the Canerector Scholars bursary program. Eligible students can receive up to $1,000 per semester toward tuition, along with an additional $1,000 upon graduation. Beyond financial support, Canerector Scholars gain access to industry connections, learning opportunities with professionals, and custom apparel to support them in the classroom and on the job, helping prepare them for successful careers.
