Today, the Trustees carry forward Ron Joyce’s vision by supporting initiatives that help young people grow into confident, healthy, and independent contributors to society. Best known as a co-founder of Tim Hortons, Ron Joyce’s legacy of entrepreneurship, generosity, and community impact continues to transform the lives of countless Canadians.

Impact

The Joyce Family Foundation has generously donated $1 million to support financial awards for Confederation College students, helping remove financial barriers and expand access to postsecondary education. By investing in students, the Foundation enables young people to pursue learning, build confidence, and prepare for successful futures.

Through partnerships with institutions like Confederation College, the Foundation strengthens the social, economic, and emotional well-being of children and youth, ensuring lasting impact for both students and the communities they serve. Its work is guided by integrity, accountability, and a deep commitment to the public good.
