Prince McIntosh Bursary
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is pleased to again offer financial support through the Price McIntosh Bursary to Indigenous peoples (First Nation, Inuit and Métis), persons with disabilities and members of visible minorities who wish to pursue studies in fields related to libraries and archives.
In addition to encouraging inclusion, the Bursary aims to diversify the narratives, experiences and interpretations available to Canadians to better understand and enrich our collective history. The bursary is intended for students enrolled in an eligible Canadian college or university program (see website for list).
Selected full-time students can receive $5,000, and part-time students $2,500.For the 2026–2027 academic year, eligible students are invited to submit their applications by September 24, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (Pacific Daylight Time).
