A.B.L.E- 2026 Peter Butler III - Rose Fortune Scholarship Program

On behalf of the Association of Black Law Enforcers (A.B.L.E.), I am pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Peter Butler III – Rose Fortune Scholarship Program.
Each year, A.B.L.E. awards $3,500 scholarships to Black and racialized students who are actively enrolled in, or planning to pursue, post-secondary studies in one of the following fields:
• Law Enforcement / Police Foundations
• Criminology / Criminal Justice
• Community & Justice Services
• Social Work & Corrections
• Law
The Peter Butler III – Rose Fortune Scholarship Program was established to honour two pioneers whose legacies continue to inspire future generations. Through this program, A.B.L.E. remains committed to supporting students who demonstrate academic achievement, leadership, community involvement, and a passion for serving their communities.

Application Deadline: Friday, August 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. (EDT)
