OPG - Community College Technician/Technology Award

The Ontario Power Generation Community College Technician/Technology Award (1@$1000) is to be granted to women, indigenous peoples (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit), students with disabilities, or visible minorities. To a student is currently in the second year of an Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Technician or Technology program, or a Mechanical/Power Systems/Computer/Marine Engineering Technician or Technology program. Requires strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated leadership skills. Proof of good academic standing (minimum B average). Involved in extracurricular activities including volunteer work. Will not be receiving more than one other award of equal or greater value in his/her second year. MUST submit a nominee information package, which must include a 250-500 word overview of your qualifications/interest in the OPG Community College Technician/Technology Award, along with a resume and is legally eligible to work in Canada upon graduation.
