Toromont Cat Safety Award

Toromont Cat believes that Employee Safety is a core principle that applies to everyone in our organization. The Toromont Cat Safety Award is given to a Motive Power Techniques-Heavy Equipment student who demonstrates the highest level of safe work practices throughout the school year. Safe work practices include: Pre-job hazard identification Personal Protective Equipment use Lock Out Tag Out Controlling Hazardous Energy (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, gravity, etc.) Fit for Duty 3 points of contact Safe lifting Only 1 Toromont Award per student.
